Robert Estes

Robert Estes is a Project Manager at Kaplan Residential. With over 40-years of industry experience, Estes brings his mastery of construction management to the team in both residential and commercial projects. He is well-rounded in all aspects of the construction process, with direct experience in contract management, set-up, submittal, buy-out, scheduling, field work, and close out.  He has successfully managed the construction of multiple high-end apartment and residential home projects and has coordinated all on-site construction activities to successfully complete projects on schedule and on budget.

Since joining Kaplan, Estes has successfully managed the completion of Cosmopolitan on Lindbergh; the sale of 18 Atlanta residences owned by Kaplan; the construction of Square One Apartment Homes in Sandy Springs; and the completion of Generation Atlanta.

Estes leverages his strong numerical and statistical foundation to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations in construction. Prior to joining Kaplan, Estes served as the Founder and Principal of Atlanta Construction and Renovation, LLC, where he helmed the firm’s overall strategy and its day-to-day operations. He also served as Vice President of Reid Construction & Grading, LLC, where he aided in growth of the company revenues by 160%. Estes participated and was integral in the construction of the first “EarthCraft Home” successfully qualified and tested multi-family project in Atlanta Georgia.  Along with his experience with project management, Robert has also worked closely with design teams, Federal, State, and Local Municipal Officials on permitting and approvals required for development and construction.
