Kevin Watson

Kevin Watson is chief financial officer and vice president of operations at Kaplan Residential. In this role, he manages the firm’s multi-million-dollar pipeline and build-to-rent projects.

In his 15+ year tenure with Kaplan Residential, Watson has superintended the development of more than 5,000 single family homes and townhomes in the Southeast, specifically The Cosmopolitan at Lindbergh (Atlanta, GA), Square One (Atlanta, GA), Generation Atlanta (Atlanta, GA), The Blake (Savannah, GA), Overton Row (Charlotte, NC), Wayford at Concord (Charlotte, NC), and 930 NoMo (Charleston, SC).

Prior to joining the firm, Watson served as chief financial officer, vice president of operations, acquisition analyst, and managing broker for leading homebuilders, investment firms, and developers. Adding to his versatile experience in real estate development, he is a licensed real estate broker in Florida, building contractor, and active member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the Urban Land Institute.

Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and MBA, with a concentration in real estate development, from Nova Southeastern University.
